Brief: To create and install the full front-of-house for the West End’s biggest show of 2016.
Process: Archers was well placed to take on this prestigious project having worked with the Shaftesbury Theatre on its last major renovation. Motown presented a challenging design brief for our production and manufacturing teams who had to produce protruding three-dimensional gold metal letters for the prominent curved front section of the theatre. Added to that, was the installation of three shimmer walls incorporating more than 80,000 individual disks.
Result: One of the most recognisable front-of-houses in the whole of the West End for one of the most successful shows in 2016.
